The book shown in this video was published by Gretsch manufacturing Co. in the 1940s and made specifically for men and women serving in World War II who wanted to form their own ocarina quartets. The ocarinas used in this video were also from that time period, all 3 made in the USA! The Blue ocarinas are Old Glory ocs, the smaller an Alto C and the larger an Alto G. The large Green oc is a “GB” (Guido Bondi) 13C (Bass C) and all were found on ebay in excellent condition. I’m not crazy about the GB, but I love the Old Glory’s! What a gem by Capcom! Capcom always did wonderful jobs with their Disney licenses and Aladdin was no different. A really great platform game that used really well the original movie as inspiration, even if I did have a hard time on some fo the flying carpet levels. Its also very fun to compare this one to the Genesis one, by Shinny. Its the perfect “video game made in Japan” vs “video Game made in the USA” debate. I was never able to figure out wich one is better, so, I own both.
