Question: Where can i find the infomation about Olympian vintage saxophone?
i have a vintage saxophone but i don’t find infomation about my
saxophone somebody said to me “it’s looks like cg.conn old model” but i don’t find right info….is there any one who can help me? Under the big bell engraving “Olympian” as a big text and
“made in usa” as a small text…and under the thums hold

The only value your horn would have would be as an antique. I would seriously doubt that it would be desirable from a musicians point of view.
I’ve never heard of an manufacture of musical named “Olympian” or of a major brand that has an “Olympian” model. I found one listing on the search engine for a Olympian trombone but when I went to the web site it was gone

of places which routinely stock American made items? I have found consistently that stuff made in China does not hold up or perform as well. I believe in keeping Americans working, and I’d prefer to buy American whenever possible, especially in this economy. If you go someplace like Walmart it’s especially hard to find anything with “Made in USA” on it, even the American flags. Walmart used to be dedicated to stocking American made merchandise.

For hand tools, I prefer S-K, Klein and Snap-on for their quality.
That said, I have to say that Japan makes the very best cameras. I don’t even know of a good SLR camera that is made in the US. In fact, I don’t know of any cameras made in the US.
Question: Where can I find information on an antique ‘Durant’ toy rifle that was made in USA?
I found this old toy rifle a while back and cannot find ANY information on it listed on the internet. Once before I googled it and came up on an ad that was listed on craigslist for one, but when I clicked the link, the ad had already been removed by the poster.
The gun is made out of plastic. It’s an old lever action style rifle with lots of filigree and “engraving” of a buck on either side. The only information that can be found on the old toy gun is that it was made by Durant and it states “Made in USA”.
Like I said, I’ve searched a lot over the past year and have come up with nothing. Does anyone know anything about these old toy guns? I’m very curious to learn more about this cool old piece that I’ve stumbled upon.

Already tried eBay.. I buy and sell a lot on eBay.. Never once have I seen one listed… Like I said, searching for a year with not info.. This seems to either be a rare piece or something that no one cares about…

Question: Do you find it depressing when you see “Classic” American Brand Items with “Made in China” tags?
The other day I saw the familiar Milwaukee Brand Tools logo on a power drill, but there was no “Made in USA” on the package. Sure enough Milwaukee tools are made in China now. Anyone who thinks I’m going to pay $ 200 for a power drill that’s imported from China clearly suffers from an extremely acute case of cranial rectal inversion.
