Of course the history of your country, and the country itself, has had it’s good and bad parts like any other.
So, which bits make you proud, and which bits do you wish hadn’t happened, or had been done differently?

Good question! As an American, I am proud of:
Democracy
The American Dream
Cultural Diversity
Our Pop Culture
Our business ingenuity – Microsoft, Apple, McDonald’s – All the things the WORLD loves
I am ashamed of:
Our involvement in the Iraq war
The image the rest of the world has of us
Slavery
Discrimination/Racism
The die hard Americans who think we are better than the rest of the world
Question: Do you prefer buying stuff that shows a label that says “proudly made in the USA” over other?
with the same price and characteristics?

yeah if it’s REALLY made in the USA. I’d rather support my own country.
