Question: Can i tattoo prevent me from becoming a police officer?
i am 18 currently in college majoring in criminal justice hoping to get my bachelors soon, i want to get a tattoo on the back of my neck that says “MADE IN USA”, but, i am wondering if that will affect me from getting a job in the future, i want to become a state trooper, or regular police officer, please help.
Well, is behind the neck visible? like if i wear a collard shirt under, should it not be covered?

It will depend on the policy of each agency you apply for, there is no over-riding rule that all officers must follow.

And yes, tattoos can affect your chances, based on those same policies mentioned above.
